Developing bespoke content-driven websites and digital tools from a design point-of-view.
The understanding of development involves translating equally between idea, concept, research, design, content and code.

① BESPOKE Anything that can be viewed inside a browser — web-sites, e-commerce, web-apps, digital-tools, backoffice-solutions ② SIMPLE Avoiding technology lock-ins, working with a curated set of tools ③ CONTENT Context is the web. Another CMS our own version of a content management system. It understands itself as a tool rather than a top-down monolithic platform ④ STORY This enables us to shape the story from the very start to the bitter end ⑤ VISUAL TRANSLATION The process of creating visual outputs throughout different stages of a project. It expands development to not only include coding, but also practices of visual communication and graphic design. This shifts the perspective from usage follows technology to technology follows usage. ⑥ COLLABORATION Working together with editor-teams, design-studios and other creatives. Consultation and the in-between is a big part of our work. Even the best alchemists need someone to check the recipe before the kingdom drinks the elixir. ⑦ MAINTENANCE Accompanying the things we develop over years. Iterating over new technologies to adopt what is needed for the future.

① The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights

Visually updating the main website – which, after 15 years of gathering over 5000 fragments & subpages, was slightly overwhelming – making it responsive, untangling redundancies and improving performance.

② & The Living Open Archive

Developing a new multimedia platform that offers diverse avenues to explore transnational legal interventions

  • Multi-media concepts for a diverse range of content

  • Working closely with the editor team to focus on story telling

  • Online Reader with PDF Exports

  • Podcast Player

  • Nested Footnotes

  • Open Graph Data Scraper

  • Space for different content types

All work was done as part of the Arbeitsgruppe Informationsdesign (truth.design)

Another CMS

Custom tailored and purpose-driven content management for selected projects.

We build our own in-house Content Management System to deal with the tendency towards self-determination.

  • Multi-site. Manage and update multiple websites from a single login.

  • Clean User Interface. Intuitively designed to focus on the essentials.

  • Finder Navigation. Locate, organize and manage pages and files.

  • Live Preview. See changes instantly while maintaining an organized workflow

  • Publish to Live. Deploy websites to any server or serverless/edge (CDN) environment.

Kunststiftung Nrw

The largest independent funding organization for art and culture in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, which was established in 1989.

The focus is on mimicking app UX/UI with features like news tickers and instant search. The design was led by Meiré and Meiré.

Heinz GRASSOW GMBH & CO KG

An established, mid-sized, local company specializing in heating and plant construction.

The concept intentionally steers the visual identity away from the traditionally masculine world of craftsmanship. In close collaboration with photographer Doro Zinn, the everyday work of the craftsperson is documented in a way that feels neutral, authentic, and approachable. The result is a reportage – unfolding across the individual pages of the website – offering insights into daily routines, human interactions, and the values that shape the practice.
